Today, we say good bye to sweet Bella. Bella crossed "The Rainbow Bridge” last night due to heart failure. Bella was adopted many years ago from RPACI and lived in the state of Pennsylvania. Bella was a fighter, she fought cancer and beat it a few years ago. She developed congestive heart failure this week and just couldn’t fight any longer.  She had the best smile and that tail never stopped moving. She was a loving, beautiful and giving girl always wanting to please and get those lovies as well as give them. She was so much fun. She was loved and will be missed by her mom, Ann Marie Grumblis. Her best friend Gunter (the light brown boxer in picture...see more) nwas there to meet her as she came acrosss the bridge. Rest well Bella, you have earned your rest and angel wings.

Cobie was rescued from a Tennessee kill shelter; the man who did so saw a sparkle in his eyes that said "Save me". He came into our life in 2011...complete with an ear that was missing a chunk! For the next nearly 12 years his infectious 'dogonality' brought us total joy and love and companionship...and through all those years the sparkle never left his eyes. He raised and was wingman to our two other dogs, including Apollo - whom Rebecca's Paws brought into our lives - and Apollo misses him a lot. Countless tears flow as we remember him and miss him...with the only comfort being that he is no longer in pain, and that we are sure to meet him again.

With tears flowing, I write this memorial to Bella. 12 years ago she was deemed "unadoptable" as she had bitten a young girl. What could not be told was the child had attempted to put doll clothes on Bella bending her legs in all ways to get those clothes on. It hurt! so Bella bit her to stop hurting her. I fell in love at first sight and since I had no children in the house all would be well. She became "momma " dog to all my other critters, always checking on them and if they squeeled she came a running. Always happy and having a wagging tail. When really happy that tail would go round in circles. Just in case you wonder....she had no problem with other children. I would let them  meet my sweet girl and she was always happy, tail wagging and gentle with the kids. She really loved kids!. The original owners just don't know what a wonderful pet they got rid of, all because they did not teach their child Bella was a living, breathing being not to be abused. She only had one flaw...bei...

Today we morn the loss of Dr. William Weber, DMV who faithfully and selflessly served the animal community for many years. We are confident that on his journey to his heavenly home, he crossed Rainbow Bridge to once again greet all of God’s critters to whom he gave so much and dearly loved. He was truly God’s servant to the animal world and to rescues who worked to save animals of all kinds. “A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal” (Proverbs 12:10).  Rest in Peace, Dr Weber. You have earned your eternal rest.

We send our deepest condolence to his wife and his staff and pray that you will find comfort during this difficult time. Please know he was loved by so many of God’s animal world and the people that crossed his path.

There are still some of his animals at Eastwood Animal Clinic that need to be rehomed. If it is in your heart to provide a loving home for them, please contact the staff. They will be eternally grateful.  Arrangements will be announced.
