My name is Lizzy….Do you remember when the COVID plague first started? Yes, that was over a year ago. At that time, I was surrendered to RPACI. My foster there was very good to me but what I really wanted was a family of my very own. I went to the vet and got all my shots and spayed, but alas PetSmart had to shut down adoptions due to the COVID. When adoptions were started up again, on a limited basis I thought now is My Time. I will get a family of my very own. And that I did, But the family’s older aged cat did not like the idea at all. She just didn’t like me. I infringed on her family and territory, Can’t say I blame it but…..oh well I came back to RPACI. I was in luck though, I got the same foster I had before and felt comfortable, but what I really wanted was my own family. Well, this past Saturday, my wish came true……. a family came in and talked to me and I knew, I just knew... they were mine. And guess what? They felt the same way about me. I now have my forever family and I am in doggie heaven. I have a mom and dad, 2 sisters and a brother….. the human kind.I walked out of that store with my head held high and a smile on my face, so very proud of and in love with my new people.
